Sherrie Joao
Reservations Sales Agent
Aloha Airlines

"Working as a reservations agent has allowed me to learn the company's computer system thoroughly. I remember my teacher telling us students, that if you start out in res, then no matter what position you decide to transfer to, it'll be much easier to adjust to. And she was right. Working in the travel industry has made me become very spontaneous. One time my friends and I decided at the last minute to go to Canada for the weekend. It was such a fun trip. I am so glad that I decided to attend the Air Academy and get the training needed in order to be a successful airline employee! "

Students are eligible to apply for financial aid for qualified programs to assist with expenses associated with attendance. (Some programs do not qualify for financial aid).

International Air and Hospitality Academy's Financial Aid Department will assist you with the application process and determine the financial aid package best suited to your individual situation. We are recognized as an eligible institution by the United States Department of Education to participate in the Federal Family Education Loan Program (FFEL) and the Title IV Federal Pell Grant Program.

Getting started in 3 easy steps!

STEP 1 - You and your parent(s)(if you are a dependent student) should apply for a Personal Identification Number (PIN) by visiting www.pin.ed.gov. You will use these PIN's as your electronic signatures for your FAFSA on the web.

STEP 2 - Once you have your PIN, you can fill out a Free Application For Student Aid (FAFSA) online, using your PIN to sign it. This is a free service, that when completed provides a copy of your Student Aid Report (SAR) to International Air and Hospitality Academy.

When filling out the FAFSA, use our Federal ID School Code which is 022229.

• If you will be attending January 2009 through June 2009 – please fill out the 2008-2009 FAFSA form.

• If you will be attending July 2009 – through June 2010 – please fill out the 2009-2010 FAFSA form.

STEP 3 - In addition to the FASFA, you will need to complete a Student Financial Aid Data Sheet. Parents may also want to complete a Parent PLUS Financial Aid Data Sheet. Both of these forms can be found in the "Financial Aid Forms" box to the right.

We also participate in several scholarship programs and encourage students to seek out scholarships they may be eligible for.

If you are a Veteran - The Financial Aid Department serves as a liaison between International Air and Hospitality Academy and the US Department of Veterans Affairs.
The office serves all students eligible to receive VA education benefits. If you are uncertain whether you are eligible for VA education benefits you should contact the US Department of Veterans Affairs US Department of Veterans Affairs or the Financial Aid Department, by phone, at (360) 695-2500. We will assist students in applying for their VA education benefits.
