"Working as a reservations agent has allowed me to learn the company's computer system thoroughly. Educational Objective: The travel industry changes daily, and so will your work as an airline or travel specialist. Graduates of our program have traveled to foreign cities and exotic locations all over the world. Our program is designed to provide the professional skills, training and confidence you need to compete for entry-level positions in the airline and travel industries. You'll train through role-playing in an environment designed to replicate a real-world workplace. This program focuses mainly on customer service and airline operations. You'll study topics above and beyond what's offered in our 10-week program, including world geography and improving self-image. Graduates are qualified for a broad range of positions, including travel and tour agents, customer service agents with airlines, and a variety of other positions in the travel industry. This program also provides an introduction to a career as a flight attendant. Applicants must be at least 17 years old, turn 18 before the midpoint of the program and have a high school diploma or GED. No prior work experience is required. Because of the nature of the industry, students with a criminal record must submit a criminal history report to the Career Development Department by week five of the program. An admissions representative will direct students to an approved background check company. |
